Do You Ever Read Your Child's emails?
| It is simply shocking to see just how foolish teens can be on the internet. Take a look below and keep in mind that many of these teen's parents haven't a clue about their online activity. Picture your child posting similar material. What other bad decisions are they making that could put themselves in danger on or offline? | |

The image below is a representation of a real MySpace page. In the pink text above the photo you'll notice the line "smoke weed everyday, rep the yay..." I think most parents will recognize the blatant drug reference.
Even more shocking is the photo. The young teen standing second from the right appears to be holding a large bag of marijuana. Enough to, depending on the state, get her locked up for a long time. Forget college, sports, social life. What are your kids hiding from you? On the table is a pot smoking device known as a "hookah pipe" where the pot is burned in the tin foil at the top and the smoke sucked through the tubes. Also on the table you'll notice cans of beer. Not only is the actual behavior of teenage drug use bad, but posting photos of it with supporting text for the world to see is simply ridiculous (this is a public profile anyone can access). Worse yet, this may portray the teen as a party person that may be willing to compromise their safety for some excitement...in the eyes of a predator.
