The 17 year old that posted the below information seems like an honest, good kid. The problem here is two fold: 1.) She is posting unnecessary information for the world to see on her public MySpace profile and 2.) child predators live in these profiles.

There is simply no reason for this teen to state all of this specific information. It makes it too easy, for example, for someone who may stalk outside of high schools. MySpace is a place for teens to share and interact with friends they already have, not meet new friends. This teen's friends and family already know where she lives and goes to school. The information simply does not need to be posted publicly along with her photos in what some may call a breeding ground for child predators.
